Your private day trip begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Mexico City. Your first destination is the impressive Archaeological Zone of Xochicalco, one of the largest and most important pre-Hispanic sites in the country, ranked fifth nationally. Its name originates from the Nahuatl language, and the site was officially recognized as a cultural heritage site by both the Nation and UNESCO on December 1, 1999. As you explore the ruins, your guide will share fascinating insights into its historical significance and the people who once inhabited it. It is believed that these ruins may have been linked to the ancient Olmec civilization, who arrived on the Gulf Coast more than fifteen centuries ago.
Following your visit to Xochicalco, the journey continues to the charming city of Cuernavaca, affectionately known as the “City of Eternal Spring” for its consistently mild and pleasant climate. Here, you'll enjoy a panoramic view of the historic Palacio de Cortés, considered the oldest colonial civil structure in the Americas. You'll have the chance to admire Cuernavaca’s colonial streets and key landmarks, soaking in the city's relaxed atmosphere and rich history. After a full day of discovery and cultural immersion, you’ll head back to Mexico City, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.

Janette was our private tour guide for Day of the Dead in Mixquic Mexico she was amazing, she walked the Xtra mile for us ... friendly, patience, informative she always put us first on everything lovely experience 100% ill do it again with Janette

I had a really nice time during the Mixquic tour. The guide was very friendly and informative. I was able to learn a lot about día de muertos and the tradition Mexican families have in order to honor their loved ones which are no longer with us. The “papel picado” is a beautiful type of decoration full of colors and very unique. I was very pleased with this tour and would definitely be looking forward on going in more tours with Vibe ;)

Adriana was an excellent and impressive guide during the busiest time of the year in the most sought after location—dia de Los muertos in Mixquic. Our first hour or so was guided, which is very important because as visitors, it’s important to know the proper etiquette. The last 3 hours we got to venture out. You know you have an excellent tour guide when you can manage a group of 19 and have them all arrive promptly at the correct meeting point. She was kind, communicative, and really knew her stuff! Thank you so much Adriana for such a memorable experience.

I did a Mixquic tour on the day of the death with Vibe Adventures. This was supposed to be a “small group” tour, but it was rather a bus trip with a group of 50 people than a tour. Little to no information was provided in Mixquic itself, we left one hour late back to Mexico City and the bus smelled like piss at times. Would rather arrange alternative transportation to Mixquic (more economic option and more comfortable). Mixquic, however, was great!

Si no me alisto rápido me quedo y pierdo mi tour .

I loved it!

The guide was awesome lunch was pretty good

The Kayak tour for sunrise over the Xochimilco fields, canals and mountains was truly magical! The best thing you could do at 3 in the morning 😄 Dress warm and bring a towel to keep your butt dry and book the extra breakfast option to enjoy a great meal with coffee/coco bread, fruits and a hearty portion of chilaquiles. We had a group of really fun people and Frida was an amazing guide! She made sure everybody was always feeling great and also told us a lot about the nature and the Axolotls living in the waters. When sunrise came we were at a portion of the canal with optimal view and she made sure everybody had a good spot. After breakfast one of the kayak guides even hopped in an Axolotl costume for a birthday celebration 😂 it was an amazing day/night and I can just recommend it to everybody
